The Jomsvikings were a possibly legendary company of Viking mercenaries or brigands of the 10th and 11th century dedicated to the worship of such deities as Odin and Thor.
They were staunchly pagan, but reputedly would fight for any lord able to pay their substantial fees - and occasionally fought alongside Christian rulers... more information here.
Jarl Sigvald got himself a brand new sword - I thought the mini-axe he was sporting was somewhat innapropriate for a man of his stature - the full 28mm of it.
This fellow kind of reminds me of Matthew McConaughey in "Reign of Fire".. what do you think? :)
Nicely done - these look great!
